Shannon “Shan-O-Mac” O’Keefe wins Texas State Bluebonnet Queens

DV8’s newest pro bowler wasted no time in proving she has what it takes to be a winner. Shannon “Shan-O-Mac” O’Keefe won the 2012 Texas State Bluebonnet Queens Tournament at Forum Bowl in Grand Prairie, Texas, this weekend. Shan-O-Mac joined DV8 Bowling as its first female bowler in February.

Shannon earned $1,200 and a paid entry into the USBC Queens. Shannon also pocketed $150 for being High Qualifier.

“It feels great to make the switch in equipment to DV8,” says Shan-O-Mac. “The balls have matched up to my game giving me the confidence that need to compete at a high level.”

Shannon averaged almost 240 in the 10 games of match play. She started the final game by striking the first nine, shooting 279, to win the tournament with the Hell Raiser Revenge, Reckless and Too Reckless.
